hello and welcome
I'm sorry if this welcome comes a bit late .. I've been having more then my share of computer problems as of late ..
glad you are among us now, and look forward to hearing from you
Peace :):)
That's wonderful!!!
I have friends from back in the hippy days and I keep telling them that the world has so much beauty in it that everyday that we're not confronted with new beauty is almost like a day wasted. I happened to mention this thought to one of my former bosses at Swissair and he started sending me the powerpoint and wmv files he keeps receiving from his friends around the world.
I've literally received thousands of these presentations to date and I'm now actively searching for a mafia hitman to help me stop this madness. Go to Toeg1 on YT and you'll see what I've put up to date.
And if you know anyone from Italy named Corleone, or something like that, ask him what the going rate is, would ya??
I've lived four years in Geneva, Switzerland, and four years in Apizaco, Tlaxcala, Mexico. I've been through two culture shocks. The world is an amazing and vibrant place. There are lots to discover everywhere. If you look at one of my groups, I have a picture of a street with mosaics painted in the street itself.
That's Huamantla. Their village festival consists of painting their streets into various mosaics (forcing everyone to use the sidewalks only) and lasts for several days.
They also have the "Huamantlada" or the running of the bulls (actually, it's more like one bull, but they try). It was one of the most colorful village festivals I've ever seen. My master scheduler in my department lived there and would constantly take me around to show me artifacts of the state of Tlaxcala.
Then you'll understand her talks rather well. She does mention a lot about the UK that the average American hasn't heard of. It's all important stuff and needs to be told, but sometimes while I'm watching, I'm imagining Americans in the heartland going, "Gordon Brown, who's he? Is he a senator from around here or what?"
You know how the British are. Everything has to be a three-part drama starring with Peter Sellers and his fake frog accent asking, "Does-e Your Dog-e baite?"

Trust me, you don't even want to watch us dancing in tutus, unless of course you're bulimic and need help.
I'm sure that you guys will be a right pair once you get hooked up. I can see you tap dancing in tutus before the end of the year!
Thank you for your decision to join us. If you ever need me for anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask.
Much love
Kerry-Ann
